The 10th round of the CFI Jordan Pro League saw a major shift at the top, with Faisali moving into first place after Ramtha were held to a draw by Wihdat in Irbid.
In the top clash of the round at Al Hasan Stadium, Ramtha began with strong momentum and tremendous support from their fans, creating several early chances. However, Wihdat’s defence remained solid and absorbed the pressure. Against the run of play, Mohannad Semreen opened the scoring for Wihdat in the 23rd minute following a defensive error from Ramtha.
Wihdat’s Shoqi Quza missed a golden opportunity to double the lead in the 53rd minute, sending his shot wide in a one-on-one situation. Ramtha responded with sustained pressure in the second half and eventually found the equaliser through Moamen Saket in the 67th minute.
Both sides appealed for penalties late in the match, but the referee waved play on. The draw saw Ramtha drop to second place with 24 points, while Wihdat remain fourth with 17.
At the Amman International Stadium, Faisali produced a dominant performance to claim a 6–1 victory over Jazira. Majdi Al Attar scored twice and was the standout performer in a one-sided encounter where Faisali controlled the game from start to finish. The result lifted Faisali to the top of the table with 25 points, while Jazira sit sixth with 11.
Meanwhile, title holders Hussein Irbid secured a dramatic 2–1 win over Ahli. The match started slowly, with both sides creating few chances in the first half. Ahli took the lead in the 69th minute through Ahmed Abu Kabeer, who followed up a rebound to score into an empty net.
Hussein equalised eight minutes later through Brazilian forward Pedro Henrique, who fired in a powerful long-range strike. Mohammad Dahod completed the comeback deep into stoppage time, securing an important win that took Hussein to 21 points in third place. Ahli, on the other hand, remain in the relegation zone with just four points.
In other matches, Salt defeated Shabab Urdun 2–0 to climb to fifth place with 15 points, while Shabab Urdun stay eighth with eight points. Baqaa and Sama Sarhan shared the spoils in a 1–1 draw, leaving Baqaa seventh with 11 points and Sarhan bottom of the table with their first point of the season.
