Jordan, partners conduct new airdrop over Gaza, deliver 82 tonnes of aid — JAF

The Jordan Armed Forces -Arab Army (JAF) said it a new airdrop operation was conducted over Gaza on Friday, delivering around 82 tonnes of food and relief supplies to civilians in the besieged enclave.

The operation, led by the Royal Jordanian Air Force, was conducted with the participation of aircraft from Germany, the United Arab Emirates, Belgium, France, Italy, and Singapore.

Friday’s mission brings the total number of airdrops conducted by Jordan since the resumption of operations on July 27 to 155, in addition to participating in 344 joint airdrop missions alongside partner countries, JAF said.

According to JAF, the Royal Jordanian Air Force has so far delivered an estimated 770 tonnes of humanitarian aid and essential supplies into Gaza by air.
