Director General of the Jordanian Judicial Institute Judge Nashat Akhras received the First Place Award for Excellence as the Best Arab Judicial Institute during the 41st session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Justice, held on Wednesday at the headquarters of the Arab League.
According to a statement issued by the Institute on Thursday, the award was presented by the session’s chair, Sudan’s Minister of Justice, in recognition of the Institute’s outstanding efforts in developing judicial training programmes and enhancing the capabilities of judges in Jordan and across the Arab world.
The award honours distinguished record of achievement and reinforces the Institute’s leading role among Arab judicial institutions in training, knowledge exchange, and institutional performance development.
Judge Akhras affirmed that this achievement reflects the Institute’s commitment to applying the highest standards of quality in judicial training, noting that the Arab recognition represents the result of the continuous support of the Jordanian Judicial Council and the dedication of national cadres who have helped raise Jordan’s profile in regional and international forums.
