Police on Sunday said that a mother in Ramtha allegedly shot and killed her two daughters before reportedly turning the gun on herself following a domestic dispute.
The woman reportedly shot and killed her two daughters, aged 11 and nine, following a domestic dispute, Police Spokesperson Lt. Col. Amer Sartawi said.
“The two victims died instantly,” Sartawi told The Jordan Times.
The mother, Sartawi maintained, “then turned the gun on herself and took her own life”.
The three bodies were transferred to the National Institute of Forensic Medicine for an autopsy, a senior medical source said.
Investigations are ongoing in the case, according to Sartawi.
